Franzen fire doors according to European standard

Now available: CE-marked fire protection doors

With the introduction of the product standard EN 16034 "Windows, doors and gates - with fire and/or smoke protection properties", Franzen now supplies fire doors and gates that meet this new standard.

Increased fire resistance from now on

Fire resistance closures according to the new European standard offer a further increase in safety compared to the previous fire resistance closures approved according to DIN 4102-5. Franzen now offers fire-resistance doors, optionally with smoke protection class EI₂90 (S₂₀₀) C5.

For the single-leaf fire-resistant construction EI₂90-S_a TSN-11, width dimensions from 525 to 1,500 mm and height dimensions from 750 to 2,950 mm are possible. For double-leaf doors and gates EI₂90-S_a TSN-11, the shell dimensions are 1,250 to 3,250 mm for width and 1,700 to 2,950 mm for height.

Highly fire-retardant exterior and interior doors

In addition, highly fire-retardant doors are available, optionally with smoke protection class EI₂60 (S₂₀₀) C5. For the EI₂60-S_a TSN-3 single-leaf highly fire-retardant construction, width dimensions from 525 to 1,750 mm and height dimensions from 750 to 3,000 mm are possible. For double-leaf doors and gates EI₂60-S_a TSN-4, the shell dimensions are 1,250 to 3,500 mm for width and 1,700 to 3,500 mm for height.

Combinable with additional performance characteristics

In addition, the new doors and gates can be optionally equipped with different performance characteristics such as burglar resistance up to class RC4, airtightness up to class 4, driving rain tightness up to class 8a, resistance to wind load up to class C5, resistance to positive and negative pressure up to 5,000 Pa and acoustic performance up to 45 dB.

All doors can be fitted with glass cut-outs as required.
